How to Enable Boot Menu in Acer Laptop

To boot an Acer Aspire laptop, follow these general steps:

1. Power On the Laptop

  • Ensure the laptop is plugged into a power source or has sufficient battery charge.

  • Press the power button to turn on the laptop.

2. Access the Boot Menu (Optional)

  • If you want to boot from a different device (like a USB drive or CD/DVD), you can access the boot menu.

  • As soon as the Acer logo appears on the screen, press the F12 key repeatedly.

  • This will bring up the boot menu, where you can select the device you want to boot from (USB, DVD, etc.).

3. Enter the BIOS/UEFI (Optional for Advanced Settings)

  • If you want to modify boot settings (like boot order), you will need to access the BIOS/UEFI.

  • Restart your laptop and press the F2 key repeatedly when the Acer logo appears.

  • In BIOS/UEFI, you can change the boot priority by navigating to the Boot tab using the arrow keys.

4. Boot from the Selected Device

  • If you selected a different boot device from the boot menu, the laptop will boot from that device (e.g., a USB drive).

  • If you are booting from the internal hard drive, the laptop will load the operating system automatically (Windows, for example).

5. Exit BIOS/UEFI (If Changed)

  • If you made changes in BIOS/UEFI, be sure to save your changes and exit the BIOS by selecting "Save and Exit" or pressing F10.
