How To Fix The Yellow Triangle Warning on C Drive on Windows 11/10

In this article, we will learn how to fix the Yellow triangle warning on C Drive on Windows 11/10. This exclamation warning or yellow color triangle shows that you need to check the concerning drive and ensure it's safe and protected by the Bitlocker. In simple words, it indicates that the Bitlocker is not activated or is suspended.

The Drive Encryption of Bitlocker comes with Windows Operating System, which is used for data protection purpose. It provides great protection. It can happen if the automatic device encryption is not enabled. When a user creates and logs to a local account during the initial set up of the computer or PC. But, no worries, if you're facing with issue of Yellow triangle warning on any Drive, you can follow solutions that are mentioned bellow.



Method 1:

  1. Press Windows Button and Type in Bitlocker; Click on Manage Bitlocker.

  2. Under Operating System Drive; Click on Turn Bitlocker On

3. Save Your Key to One of these Locations; the easiest way is to save it to your Microsoft Account - Click Next.



4. Click on Activate Bitlocker and that's it.


Method 2

If the above solution doesn't work; try the next method.

  1. Press Windows key on the keyboard and type in CMD - Right Click on Command Prompt and run as Administrator

  2. Type in the following command

manage-bde -off C:


The process will take a minute or two. Once it’s completed, you'll no longer see the Yellow Triangle Warning, I suggest you restart your system.
